Tee time for Tiger: 1:42
Masters poobahs showed some viewer-friendliness by having Tiger Woods tee off at 1:42 p.m. Thursday.
This way some of his round can be seen during ESPN's live coverage beginning at 4.
They could have given him a morning tee time, shutting off live TV (other than his first tee shot) altogether, so they did throw fans and ESPN a bone.
(Of course, the situation will reverse Friday, when Woods tees off in the morning and thus will not be seen live on TV for his second round.)
