Tennis can take a long time
Not much time to blog about sports today. Too busy watching sports.
Went from epic U.S. soccer victory directly to longest match in tennis history, which as I write this is in the 105th game of the fifth set.
ESPN moved Mahut-Isner from ESPN2 to ESPNU to make room for more soccer.
Next: The Ocho!
(It would appear serving is a bit of an advantage on the Wimbledon grass, no?)
Update: And . . . it's over! Well, not over, actually. Just over for today. At 59-59 in the fifth.
Isner to BBC: "Nothing like this will ever happen again - ever."
