Here is a story I wrote for the Friday newspaper about the renewal of the old-school rivalry between the Yankees and Dodgers on prime time national TV Saturday and Sunday nights.

Strangely, I neglected to mention that Friday night's game would be called on L.A. television by Vin Scully, who knows a thing or two about the teams' histories. Tyler Kepner wrote about that in the Times here.

I also wrote some stuff in the paper about World Cup announcers and ratings and such but thus far my efforts to locate it on the website have been unsuccessful. I'll try later.
