Tom Konchalski is polite

New York magazine has a nice feature this week on high school basketball talent evaluator Tom Konchalski, who I knew pretty well in the late 1980s and early '90s and who is the most polite man I have dealt with in nearly 30 years in journalism.

And also one of the smartest and most honorable. Which is a minor miracle, given his profession.
