View from Giants Stadium press box closer to ground level now

The original Giants Stadium press box was a marvel of premium seating on the mezzanine level, but after 1997 those seats were sold to well-off fans and reporters were kicked upstairs.

I first visited the new press box in the spring of '98 on a tour and dinner hosted by Jim Fassel for reporters and their significant others.

I was shocked and horrified by how high in the sky it was.

At last, that won't be a problem anymore.
