Post-loss vibe mostly subdued from Jets fans this a.m., with WFAN's Joe Benigno setting the pragmatic tone: Gang Green was beaten by the better team and the best quarterback alive, end of story.

The fallout is much more entertaining in Minnesota, including an amusing local radio call of Brett Favre's fateful interception, via SI.com's Jimmy Traina here.

In my newspaper column I referenced the fact Ron Jaworski was all over the fact the Jets often take a deep shot on their third series, which they did successfully Sunday.

But Jaworski and his producer at ESPN's "NFL Matchup," Greg Cosell, were dead on when I spoke to them Thursday at NFL Films headquarters regarding several other developments that came true.

That includes the fact Pierre Garcon - who did not play in Week 16 - would have a huge impact, and that the Colts likely would go to three wide receivers plus Dallas Clark to exploit matchup issues in the Jets secondary.

Well done, sirs.
