Solved: "100 Years of Who's Who in Baseball," which, happily but amazingly still is being published a decade-and-a-half into the 21st century, celebrates the iconic reference guide's 100th edition.
The beauty of this tribute to the "Handy Reference Guide To Batting & Pitching Stats" is that its red-background images extend in every direction, providing multi-generational nostalgia.
The first edition, with Ty Cobb on the cover, cost 15 cents. This year's, featuring Mike Trout, is listed at $9.95.
