Their opponent is still to be determined, but one thing is clear: the Yankees will open up their American League Division Series at the Stadium on Friday night at 8:37 pm.
The game will be televised on TBS, with Game 1 of the other ALDS starting at 5:07 p.m.
Networks love their Yankees in primetime across the country. East coast newspapers who cover the Yankees on a daily basis do not.
