All the suspension stuff has been cleared, he said, and Chael Sonnen will fight again soon for the UFC. Several reports said Sonnen and Brian Stann have verbally agreed to fight in October.
MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani and Chael Sonnen talk in the "Backstage" video embedded below. Watch and enjoy.
The best part comes at the seven-minute mark when Sonnen responds to comments made by Wanderlei Silva. Here's part of it:
"Wanderlei, you were an immigrant from Brazil, I am a gangster from America. Are you sure you want to play that game with me? Listen, Wanderlei, I will do a home invasion on you. I will cut the power to your house and the next thing you hear will be me climbing up your stairs in a pair of night vision goggles I bought in the back of Soldier of Fortune magazine."
And yes, he kept going.
