Chris Weidman and Costa Philippou share the cage

Chris Weidman and Costa Philippou don't train together as much as you would think, what with them both fighting in the UFC's middleweight division and both training at the same gym -- Ray Longo MMA in Garden City.
Their schedules don't often allow for it, but with Philippou fighting July 7 at UFC 148 and Weidman headlining UFC on Fuel 4 on July 11, Thursday June 14 found an overlap.
Here's the video from Longo's gym as Weidman and Philippou spar and talk about the situation.
Baldwin's Weidman, an All-American wrestler, wil fight Mark Munoz, and Massapequa's Philippou, a precision striker and former boxing champion, will fight Riki Fukuda next month. Look for more videos with these two Long Island-based fighters in the days leading up to their fights.
