Urijah Faber will remain on the UFC 148 fight card in the wake of bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz's torn anterior cruciate ligament.
UFC president Dana White said Faber will fight a to-be-determined opponent for the interim bantanweight title on July 7 in Las Vegas. White also said that lightweight champion Ben Henderson will defend his title against Frankie Edgar on Aug. 11.
