Fedor Emelianenko, Strikeforce and making sense of it all

All sorts of news, rumors, speculations and information floating across the Internet today, but here's what we know sure (we think): Fedor Emelianenko's next fight won't happen in April.
Rumored to be fighting on Strikeforce's April card on CBS, Emelianenko's people at M-1 Global confirmed Thursday that his fight against Fabricio Werdum will be pushed back to May (most likely because Fedor is still healing from surgery on his right hand after the Brett Rogers fight).
Shortly thereafter, Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker confirmed that the promotion's next event will be April 17 in Nashville.
Here's where it gets interesting. Middleweight champion Jake Shields defends his title against UFC veteran Dan Henderson on that card. The fighters confirmed it, not Strikeforce. That was rumored to be the co-main event, along the Fedor-Werdum matchup.
Now, light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi gets his name on the marquee, albeit in slightly smaller letters, as he defends his title against Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal.
Strikeforce announced late last year that their April card would air on CBS, much like their November card featuring Fedor's debut did. But MMAJunkie.com reports that Fedor's contract states that he must fight on CBS instead of cable partner Showtime because of the bigger audience.
Assuming that's true (and MMA Junkie is quite good at what it does), would Strikeforce go back-to-back on CBS? How would Showtime feel about that?
When will this May fight happen between Fedor and Werdum? Will it get pushed back again?
