Georges St-Pierre hangs out at Citi Field
Football may have surpassed baseball as America's favorite sport, but us old-school sports fans know that baseball will always be America's pasttime.
Which, of course, has very little bearing on the day-to-day life of UFC welterweight Georges St-Pierre, a French Canadian from Montreal.
So, to see GSP stare in admiration at a sport he's very unfamiliar with, in a stadium -- Citi Field in Queens -- that holds more than twice as many people as the Bell Centre in Montreal, is curiously strange.
Here is GSP, the No. 2 pound-for-pound mixed martial artist in the world, looking perplexed. He has solved every riddle put in front of him in the octagon, but get him on the diamond and you'd think the Montreal Expos never existed.
Once GSP gave the bat back to Mets third baseman David Wright and started talking about MMA, coaching on Season 12 of "The Ultimate Fighter," and defending his title against Josh Koscheck at UFC 124 in Montreal this December, he felt more comfortable.
Watch the video below for more with St-Pierre.
