Gian Villante-Sam Alvey set for UFC Fight Night in Utica

Sam Alvey asked very politely, in front of several hundred thousand fans watching around the world, to fight Gian Villante next.
Upon seeing the clip, Villante graciously accepted the bout via social media.
And now, the UFC has made it so.
Villante, from Levittown, will face Alvey in a light heavyweight bout at UFC Fight Night in Utica in June 1 at the Adirondack Bank Center.
Villante (16-9) is coming off a split decision win over Francimar Barroso at UFC 220 in January.
Alvey (32-10) last fought in February when he knocked out Marcin Prachnio in 42 seconds.
