You know, formerly great champions that keep fighting for money but are painful for us to watch anymore. They say never meet your idols. This is similar.

Watching pioneers of a sport continue to try when their bodies and skills don't have it anymore is sad. It's a noble effort on their part, but sad for fans to see.

Pulver (22-14-1), the first UFC lightweight champion, lost again Saturday night, his sixth straight defeat and eighth in his last nine fights. This time, it was to Diego Garijo (who?) at PWP's War on the Mainland. It lasted all of 67 seconds.
