In a sport where the main purpose is to beat another man and determine who the tougher person is, a draw is like swallowing gum: it sits in your stomach, you're not comfortable about it and there's nothing you can do except let time pass.
Here we are on Tuesday, three days removed from the majority draw decision between Jon Fitch and BJ Penn at UFC 127, and we're still not satisfied. Blame the judging, blame the fighters, do as you wish.
But first, have a look at how each judge scored the fight. After rewatching the actual fight, I'm of the belief that D'Amato and Lee scored the bout accurately. I gave the first and second rounds to Penn, and after a 134-0 edge in strikes landed for Fitch in round three, it's impossible to argue against a 10-8 round.
