MMA Platinum Gloves returned to Long Island with its seventh card featuring amateur mixed martial artists from Long Island and the five boroughs.
The fights were held at the Sports Arena in St. James on Nov. 1. Below are the results.
Catchweight (195 pounds): Michael Merante def. Ryan Schappert by split decision.
Lightweight: Nyko Harrynarine def. Paul Thimote via TKO in Round 1.
Lightweight: Ryan Castro def. James Gonzalez by split decision.
Bantamweight: Robert Diggle def. Shaquan Moore by split decision.
Featherweight: Errol Murphy def. Tyler Fudzinski via TKO in Round 1.
Heavyweight: Kevin Wall def. Damon Mulazzi via submission (armbar) in Round 1.
Welterweight: Dave Della Rocca def. Eric Finch via split decision.
