Mark Hominick threw one punch and missed. Chan Sung Jung did not.
"The Korean Zombie" landed a right hand to the left jaw near Hominick's ear and dropped the Canadian fighter. A few more punches and Jung scored a seven-second knockout at UFC 140 in Toronto.
Jung (12-3) tied a UFC record for the fastest knockout ever. Todd Duffee also did it.
Hominick opened the fight by charging forward and throwing a big left hook. It missed wildly.
"I came out a little too wild," said Hominick (20-10). "I got a little too hyped up."
