Phillipe Nover, the registered nurse from Brooklyn and runner-up on Season 8 of "The Ultimate Fighter," faces something of a must-win against Rob Emerson at UFC 109 on Feb. 6 in Las Vegas.
After losing the The Ultimate Finale to Efrain Escudero and then at UFC 98 to Kyle Bradley, Nover needs to beat Emerson in their lightweight bout. That would just about guarantee another fight or two in the UFC for the 25-year-old Nover.
Still, Nover, who trains at Bellmore Kickboxing Academy and Soca Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Bellmore, is quite relaxed and focused. See for yourself in this video from UFC media day at Renzo Gracie's BJJ Academy in Manhattan.
