Jose Aldo hasn't lost a fight in eight years and yet the UFC featherweight champion from Brazil gets shown very little love as the best pound-for-pound fighter MMA fighter in the world.

That's because of who's ahead of him. Heck, Aldo even lost out to anyone not already listed as an option.

In our latest Fightin' Words reader poll, Jon Jones took the plurality of votes (a total of 1,835 were cast) as your pick for best fighter. Below are the results, with the usual disclaimer that these results are about as scientific as an old shoelace you found in the street.

34% -- Jon Jones

25% -- Georges St-Pierre

23% -- Anderson Silva

10% -- Someone else

  9% -- Jose Aldo
