Here's a twist: A big name is taken off the pay-per-view portion of a UFC card and it's not because he's injured. Seems like that hasn't happened in some time.

But, that's the case with Rich Franklin and UFC 133.

His opponent, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, pulled out of their bout earlier this week. UFC president Dana White said they found an opponent -- Alexander Gustafsson -- for Franklin on Aug. 6 in Philadelphia, but the former UFC middleweight champion turned it down.

"Rich was like, 'I'm at a point in my career,  I want to fight the big-name guys,'" White said.

Gustafsson will fight Matt Hamill at UFC 133.
