Remember when Spike and the UFC were friends? Now, they're like Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn in "The Breakup," co-habitating in the same space until the lease runs out.
Spike owns rights to the UFC library through 2012 even though all the MMA company's new, live footage airs on the Fox family of networks.
So, as Diego Sanchez headlines against Jake Ellenberger in the UFC's debut on Fuel TV on Wednesday night, here's what Spike cooked up to program against it: a big, giant Diego Sanchez fight marathon beginning at 7 p.m.
Fights include:
- Diego's Fight of The Year performance against Clay Guida from the TUF 9 finale
- Diego's win over David Bielkhden from UFC 82
- His recent Fight of the Night performance against Paulo Thiago at UFC 121
Plus, other fights featuring Anderson Silva, Rich Franklin, Chuck Liddell and Dan Henderson.
