Strikeforce: LI's Anthony Leone has fight stopped
Anthony Leone of Center Moriches made his Strikeforce debut Saturday night in New Jersey by walking out to "Big Poppa" by Notorious B.I.G.
What happened next left his face juicy.
Leone ate two big knees from Josh Laberge that opened up a big cut on his nose. Leone lasted the rest of the first round, but after the bell, the doctor examined him and then stopped the fight. It looked as if Leone had a broken nose.
This is the third straight loss for Leone, who opened his career with eight straight wins in regional bouts. As the level of competition increased -- first WEC, then Bellator -- Leone has struggled.
