Strikeforce: Overeem and the neck crank
He's the other Overeem, the one not in the Strikeforce Grand Prix heavyweight tournament.
But Valentijn Overeem casts an imposing presence in the cage. Fighting kickboxing legend Ray Sefo, Overeem made it look easy, winning by neck crank in 97 seconds in the opening fight on the Showtime broadcast at the Izod Center.
Overeem (29-25) shot it with 3:40 left and got Sefo (2-1) on his back. He pinned him up sideways against the cage to set up the crank and submission 17 seconds later.
