With her vocal performance Thursday in Seattle, new UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey instantly moved up the list of pound-for-pound trash talkers in MMA.
Her and UFC president Dana White sharing the same dais will create quite a few sound bites in the coming months.
Here are a few of Rousey's more amusing quotes from Thursday:
At the UFC on Fox 5 press conference -- "I can't make these girls fight me when I want them to fight me. I got a lot of respect for Liz. She was the only one that really stepped up and said she wanted this fight right now, and it speaks a lot to her. When the other girls come around, and they actually want to come to the big show, they know where I'm at."
"I know she can make 135 and so does she. It just takes her a little while to realize that this is the only option she has. And it took her a while because I don't think she's that bright."
In the post-presser media scrum -- “I don’t care if she’s sticking horse semen in her eyeballs. As long as she weighs 135, I’m cool.”
