This one was a manhandling on the part of George Sotiropoulos. He did whatever he wanted to do to Joe Stevenson at UFC 110 in Australia.

Sotiropoulos, who once trained with Matt Serra, exhibited outstanding jiu-jitsu skills and utterly dominated Stevenson on the ground throughout most of the lightweight bout.

The Australian Sotiropoulos won a unanimous decision for his sixth straight victory, which makes the lightweight division somewhat more interesting. All three judges scored the bout 30-27.

“I didn’t feel in danger any time,” said Sotiropoulos (12-2).

If he continues to impress like this, maybe we’ll have another contender at 155 pounds by the end of the 2010. Perhaps Sotiropoulos against Gray Maynard next?
