Mark Bocek loves himself some Montreal.

The native Canadian has fought in the city twice and has a pair of wins, thanks to his submission victory over Dustin Hazelett at UFC 124 on Saturday night.

It was quick and simple, too, as Bocek got the victory 2:33 into the bout.

Credit Bocek for knowing his place on the ladded in the lightweight division, too. Typically, fighters come out and want to challenge the champion right away. Not Bocek. He knows there's work to be done.

Instead, he said this during his in-cage interview with Joe Rogan: “Let me start out by saying Dustin Hazelett is a really tough guy. I’ve been quiet way too long. I have the best jiu-jitsu in the lightweight division and I want to prove it by fighting George Sotiropoulos in Toronto.”
