UFC 128: Now that's a knockout
NEWARK - Amid a smattering of boos for the somewhat slow start to the first prelim of the night, featherweight Erik Koch quickly fixed that.
He landed a one-punch knockout of Raphael Assuncao in UFC 128 Saturday night at the Prudential Center.
"That's the perfect UFC debut for me," Koch said
Yep.
Assuncao charged toward Koch (12-1), who slid a bit to his right and threw a counter right hook with thunderous effect. That was it for Assuncao (14-4), who fell to the canvas at the 2:32 mark and remained there for several minutes.
