UFC 129: Ben Henderson makes smooth transition
He may be susceptible to flying "Matrix" kicks off the fence, but who isn't? That highlight-reel kick aside, Ben Henderson has a chance to become one of the top lightweights in the UFC.
The former WEC lightweight champion has the wrestling, the kicks, the flexibility and the escapability to compete against anyone in the division.
Henderson (13-2) used it all, and some impressive stand-up striking to defeat Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist Mark Bocek (9-4) at UFC 129 in Toronto on Saturday night. Henderson won by unanimous decision in his UFC debut, with all three judges scoring it 30-27.
