UFC 133: Hooray, a stoppage! Thanks, Gustafsson
PHILADELPHIA -- After five straight decisions on the card, Alexander Gustafsson finally gave the crowd inside the Wells Fargo Center reason to not leave their seats.
He beat Matt Hamill by second-round TKO in their light heavyweight bout at UFC 133.
Gustafsson (12-1) slipped a pair of good uppercuts through Hamill's defense and sent him to the ground. Gustafsson followed up, got the mount and went to work on Hamill. At the 3:54 mark, referee Dan Miragiliotta stepped in to stop the bout.
"I'm super happy," Gustafsson said.
It's the second straight loss for Hamill (11-4) after beating Tito Ortiz by decision.
