UFC 141: Running into a jab is bad

Vladimir Matyushenko moved forward toward his UFC 141 opponent Alexander Gustafsson.

Gustafsson extended his left arm in a jabbing motion and connected squarely of Matyushenko's chin. His neck shrunk three inches as the punch floored Matyushenko 2:13 into the first round Friday night.

Not much else to say in this bout. It featured little action before that jab, but it does raise the question of whether or not Matyushenko, 40, should still be on the pay-per-view portion of the fight card.
