Michael Bisping is known for his ability to say negative things about his opponents leading up to a fight.

He's among the best at it, highlighted by earlier in the week when he said Alan Belcher beating him on Saturday at UFC 159 would be "the biggest win of his pathetic career."

Well, Bisping won't need to worry about having to backtrack from that statement as he dominated Belcher and won by technical decision. The bout was stopped late in the third round after an accidental eye poke.

Belcher dropped to the ground and was bleeding from the right eye, the same eye that kept him out of fighting for a while.

Because of the stoppage by accidental foul, the fight went to the judges' cards. Two judges scored it 30-27 for Bisping, with a third judge scoring it 29-28.

Eye pokes asisde, Bisping (25-5) found his striking range in the second round and dominated the action, connecting with head shots with both the left and right hands.

Belcher (17-7) showed little defense -- but a strong chin -- for Bisping's striking.
