UFC flyweight champion Nicco Montano was taken to a medical facility "as a precautionary measure" on Friday morning before weigh-ins because of health concerns, the UFC said Friday.

Her scheduled title defense against Valentina Shevchenko on Saturday at UFC 228 at American Airlines Center in Dallas has been canceled. (Shevchenko was on weight for a championship fight at 124.5 pounds.)
