Spike confirmed Thursday (Veterans Day, by the way) that it will air another "FIght for the Troops" UFC live card on Jan. 22, 2011, from Fort Hood, Texas.

On the televised card  for the second show of this type are:

Kenny Florian vs. Evan Dunham
Mike Swick vs. David Mitchell
Matt Mitrione vs. Tim Hague
DaMarques Johnson (a National Guard veteran) vs. Mike Guymon
Melvin Guillard vs. Yves Edwards

The show helps raise funds for those members of the U.S. armed forces who have suffered traumatic brain injuries. Spike TV and UFC also are partnered with the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund for this fight night. The IFHF provides assistance to veterans  who have been critically injured in the line of duty, and their families.

"We're thrilled to be the beneficiary of the generosity of Spike TV and the UFC,"  Richard Santulli, Chairman, Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund said in a statement. "Their fans have always supported our troops and we thank them for their unwavering commitment to what we do to help our brave men and women in uniform and their families."

The first Fight for the Troops in December 2008 raised more than $4 million. If you're interested in contributing or just learning more, visit fightforthetroops.com.
