Unified rules of mixed martial arts

Embedded below is an 11-page document that details the unified rules of mixed martial arts, as agreed to by state athletic commissions.
States and MMA promotions can add items to this for use in their own particular area, but the rules listed here are the minimum mandatory guidelines for the sport.
They were agreed to in 2001 by the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board, other regulatory bodies and several MMA promoters.
