Brandon Vera lost the fight, but won his career back on Saturday at UFC on Fox 4 in Los Angeles.
He fought gamely against Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, who won by TKO in the fourth round. Rua landed a big left hook that moved Vera's mouth guard, and when Vera went to adjust it, he left himself open for a quick flurry of punches that ended the fight.
