Chad George made a weak attempt to shoot low on Scott Jorgensen's ankles. And so ended his night.
Jorgensen sprawled, slapped on a guillotine and ended the WEC 47 bantamweight fight that quickly. Tough break for the fans in Columbus, Ohio, who snuck out in to the bathroom or concession stand in between fights.
"You take on a shot on me from a distance, I'll stop it," Jorgensen said.
The guillotine choke securely fastened, Jorgensen (9-3) walked George to a standing position against the cage, then lifted him in the air to add pressure to the submission attempt. His legs kicking for a bit, George (11-5) quickly tapped and collapsed to the ground having been put to sleep in 31 seconds. Ambien and Tylenol PM should work that fast.
