NASCAR gives fans chances to win

NASCAR has announced a pair of contests to give fans opportunities to participate in two of its biggest fan events of the year -- and drive away happy in new vehicles.
* As part of the "NASCAR After The Lap" sweepstakes, one lucky fan will win a grand prize package that includes a 2013 Ford F-150 FX4 truck, round trip for two to Las Vegas, two nights at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and two VIP tickets to NASCAR After The Lap, part of the sport's Champions Week that follows the season's final race in Homestead, Fla.
To purchase tickets and enter the NASCAR After The Lap sweepstakes, fans can visit www.NASCARafterthelap.com. Tickets are $20 each, with proceeds benefitting The NASCAR Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that raises funds to support children's charities and important causes throughout the nation. NASCAR After The Lap sweepstakes entries will be accepted up until Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. ET.
* "NASCAR Contenders Live" will take place in downtown Chicago on Sept. 12, preceeding the first race in the Chase for the Championship. At the event, the 12 contenders will take to a stage to detail their strategies on how they plan to win the ultimate prize: the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series trophy.
Fans can visit www.NASCAR.com/ContendersLive to enter the "Contenders Live" sweepstakes until Aug. 30 at 3 p.m. ET to win tickets to Contenders Live, $500 cash and a 2012 Toyota Camry SE. Additionally, fans can visit the site to purchase tickets to NASCAR Contenders Live.
