6 NHL players on Germany's Olympic hockey team
(AP) — Buffalo Sabres forward Jochen Hecht is one of six NHL players selected to play for Germany at next month's Winter Olympics.
The others announced by Germany's coach Uwe Krupp on Thursday are Thomas Greiss of San Jose, Christian Ehrhoff of Vancouver, Dennis Seidenberg of Florida, Marcel Goc of Nashville and Marco Sturm of Boston.
AHL player Alexander Sulzer of the Milwaukee Admirals also made the 23-player team.
Germany plays Sweden on Feb. 17 in its opening game at the Olympics. The Germans will also face Finland and Belarus.
