Stack scores twice as US beats Finland in hockey
(AP) — Kelli Stack scored two goals and added an assist to help the U.S. Olympic women's hockey team beat Finland 8-2 on Saturday night in its final game before the Vancouver Games.
On Thursday night, the U.S. beat Finland 5-1 in the final game of its Qwest Tour.
"It gives you great confidence when you score 13 goals in two games," Stack said. "We're clicking at the right time."
The United States, set to fly to Vancouver on Sunday, finished its exhibition schedule 16-8. Finland was 7-13.
