Barack Obama meets U.S. World Cup squad
Following yesterday's announcement of the 23-man roster in Connecticut, the U.S. national team traveled down to Washington to meet President Barack Obama.
Obama met the team at the White House along with Vice President Joe Biden, who will be in attendance when the U.S. faces England June 12. Former President Bill Clinton, who is the honorary chairman of the United States' World Cup 2018 & 2022 bid committee, was also on hand for the event.
The team is now on to Philadelphia, where it will face Turkey Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field.
