Newsday.com's Mario Gonzalez and Meredith Daniels visited Farmingdale and Babylon Wednesday and caught up with a few fans of the United States women's national team.
The U.S. defeated France, 3-1, thanks to goals by Lauren Cheney, Abby Wambach and Alex Morgan to advance to the Women's World Cup final against Japan on Sunday (2 p.m., ESPN).
