Less than half of the 30 American players invited to training camp this week belong to club teams still in action this weekend. Here's a quick summary of who played and how they did:

ABROAD:
Carlos Bocanegra (Rennes, France) did not dress in Rennes' 1-0 loss to Boulogne. He is recovering from an abdominal injury.
Oguchi Onyewu (AC Milan, Italy) did not dress in his team's 3-0 win over Juventus.
Benny Feilhaber (AGF Aarhus, Denmark) played 33 minutes in his tam's 3-0 loss to Odense BK. The loss meant Aarhaus (11th place of 12) would be relegated from the Danish Super League.
Jose Torres (Pachuca, Mexico) started and played 90 minutes in his team's 1-0 playoff loss to Toluca. Pachuca was eliminated from the Mexican Clausera tournament, 3-2, on aggregate.
Eddie Johnson (Aris, Greece) did not play in his team's 0-0 draw at Olympiakos. He flew back to the States to receive an MRI on his injured hamstring.
Clarence Goodson (IK Start, Norway) started and played 90 minutes in a 3-0 win over Kongsvinger.

MLS:
Chad Marshall & Robbie Rogers (Columbus) both started and played 90 minutes in a 0-0 draw against Chivas USA.
Heath Pearce (Dallas) started and played 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw against Philadelphia. He received a yellow card in the 82nd minute.
Landon Donovan & Edson Buddle (Los Angeles) both started and played 90 minutes in a 0-0 draw against Toronto FC.
Jonathan Bornstein & Sacha Kljestan (Chivas USA) both started and played 90 minutes in a 1-0 loss to Columbus.

Also of note: Alejandro Bedoya (Orebro SK, Sweden) has been granted permission to remain with his team for Monday's game against Trelleborgs FF.

As for Monday, Jose, myself and our videographer Mario Gonzalez will all be at Princeton Monday to check out the aforementioned players and everybody else as head coach Bob Bradley begins the process of paring his 30-player team down to 23.
