LI's Cannon Kingsley loses in second round of Wimbledon junior boys tournament

Cannon Kingsley of Northport lost in the second round of the Wimbledon juniors on Tuesday, falling to Englishman Arthur Fery, 6-4, 6-4.
“In both sets I played a poor service game at 4-4 that cost me the match,” Kingsley said via text. “I think the British crowd helped him a lot because they were very loud. Every big point he got massive energy from the crowd and I didn’t deal with it as well as I should have.”
"Brits are better on grass,” texted Kingsley's father Harry. “He played well, but this kid was tricky and tough. Cannon just wasn’t as comfortable with all the awkward bounces and the funky footing. He’d crush this kid on any other surface.”
Kingsley paired with Alexander Zgirovsky of Belarus to win their opening match of junior doubles.
