A skirmish between fans broke out at the U.S. Open Thursday night, stopping play during the featured Novak Djokovic-Philipp Petzschner match on Arthur Ashe.

The brief tussle began with an argument between a young man and an older woman, who witnesses say objected to the man's use of the F-word during the match, according to a published report.

The woman slapped the young man and the two argued for about a minute until an older man sitting with the woman came toward the younger man, wrestled with him and fell into the row below.

The incident was very Don Zimmer-esque, but it didn't end there. The woman then pushed the young man before fans came in to break everything up.
