Serena Williams’ loss to Karolina Pliskova in the U.S. Open women’s semifinals Thursday drastically lowered asking prices for the women’s final on Saturday.

The average price before Williams’ loss was $761.82. As of midday Friday it was $336.18, a drop of more than 50 percent, according to TiqIQ.com, which monitors secondary ticket market sites.

The least expensive ticket for the Pliskova-Angelique Kerber final as of Friday was $44, down from $118 before Pliskova’s upset victory over Williams.
