David Nalbandian was a very dangerous player once. Maybe he is again.

Nalbandian is playing in his first Grand Slam since the Australian Open in 2009. He had hip surgery in May of last year and has missed the last six Slams. He's reached the semifinals in three Slams during his career, including the Open in 2003.

His comeback this season was accentuated by a victory in Washington, where he beat Marcos Baghdatis in the final. He made a run to the quarterfinals in Toronto in his next event.

The crafty Nalbandian has wins over Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer during his career. A quarterfinal slot isn't out of the question for him.
