Rafael Nadal up 4-2 in first set
It's early. Very early.
But Rafael Nadal took the first game from Novak Djokovic. Djokovic has to be careful here. Nadal hasn't lost a set in this tournament and is 107-1 in Grand Slam matches when winning the first set.
Nadal is serving now.
UPDATE (4:32): Nadal won the second game. Good analysis by John McEnroe, who is working as an analyst on the CBS telecast. Djokovic has a winning record on hard courts against Nadal (a 7-3 advantage), but isn't playing like it. At least he's not at this early point in the match.
UPDATE (4:35): Djokovic gets back into the match, winning the third game. It's 2-1, Nadal is up in the first set.
UPDATE (4:42): Only the third time Nadal has been broken in the tournament. Djokovic has evened it at 2-2. Djokovic has settled down nicely.
UPDATE (4:53): It took six break points, but Nadal was able to win the fifth game. He's up 3-2 in the first set. Meanwhile, Djokovic needs to settle down. After dropping the game, Djokovic destroyed his racket in frustration after hitting it on the court. Can't lose your composure in this match. The game lasted over eight minutes.
UPDATE (4:49): Nadal up 4-2.
