Unseeded Tommy Robredo took the third set from 12th seed Mikhail Youzhny, 6-4, in a third-round match at Louis Armstrong Stadium.
Youzhny, who knocked out John Isner in the third round, still leads after winning the first two sets, 7-5, 6-2.
