U.S. Open 2016 fans’ guide

The Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, site of the U.S. Open tennis tournament that begins Monday, is located in Flushing Meadiow-Corona Park.
How to get there
- By subway: 7 train from Grand Central Terminal to Mets-Willets Point Station.
- By bus: Service available from the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
- By train: LIRR service to Mets-Willets Point Station.
- By car: (From Manahttan) RFK Bridge to Grand Central Parkway East. Take Exit 9E, stay left to Van Wyck Expressway South. Take Exit 12A (College Point Blvd.). Follow signs to parking. (From Long Island) LIE West to Exit 22B. At first light, make a right on College Point Blvd. Follow signs to parking. (From Connecticut/Westchester) Take I-95 to Whitestone Bridge and Whitestone Expressway South. Take Van Wyck Expressway and exit at Exit 12A (College Point Blvd.). Follow signs to parking.
Parking
Accessible parking in Lots C and H (go to usopen.org for map). Passes must be purchased in advance through U.S. Open Ticket Office. Lot H passes also available for purchase during the tournament. Shuttles for disabled available from Lot H.
Entrance
Fans limited to one bag not larger than 12”x12”x16”. A bag storage facility is located outside East Gate and South Gate entrances.
Prohibited items
Among items not allowed are backpacks, hard coolers or containers, sealed packages, bottles or cans, aerosol cans or noisemaking devices, alcohol, video cameras or recording devices, computers or laptops, food (except in limited quantities, or for medical, dietary or infants), weapons, animals (unless a service animal), flags or signage, laser pointing devices, tennis racquets, drones, selfie sticks, telescopic devices
Seating for disabled
Seating available throughout the grounds. All seating in Arthur Ashe Stadium is reserved. Seating in all other venues is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Disabled guests and up to three companions will be accommodated in designated areas.
Mobility devices
Guests with mobility-limiting disabilities may bring powered non-wheelchair mobility devices (including Segways®). Because of such issues as size of device, storage and safekeeping of the device when the user is seated, a guest bringing such a device to the US Open may have his or her seating location adjusted.
